The Lakes
Centex Homes was looking for a prominent feature for their new home development in Menifee, California. This bridge sits adjacent to the recreation center which is the heart of the project. It was designed to allow small boats to navigate through it with a minimum 4’ water depth. Hydro-Arch also designed two other structures in case of overflow.
To extend the life of the structure and lessen the effects of standing water, epoxy coated rebar was installed in the invert and 6’ up the walls.
